Flowers and a Portrait photoshoot
Welcome back for a week in pictures and this week I ll showcase some shots from a little visit to the botanical garden in Alnarp and finishing the week with a photoshoot in Mölle harbor with Caroline for some portraits together with my partner in crime.
So lets jump right into my newest little obsession:) flowers…
‘Al rojo vivo’
Canon 6d, 100mm Macro, f/5,6 ISO 250, 1/160sec
Red can be one of the most difficult colors to pull off when it comes to flowers but when you do I must say that they look amazing. So happy with this shot as I feel it works not only composition wise but also in colors and depth of field. I tried so many angles and light directions on this one but I think it paid off in the end.
‘Christmas in July’
Canon 6d, 100mm Macro, f/3,2 ISO 400, 1/250sec
We had a quick visit to Malmö festivalen and at sunset we took a stroll by Slottsparken and found this little scene. It reminds me somewhat of Christmas so wanted to play on the concept of a Christmas scene in the middle of the summer.
‘My little sunshine’
Canon 6d, 100mm Macro, f/7,1 ISO 320, 1/320sec
Back to Alnarps gardens and dont you just get happy and energized by looking at this scene? So summerish and it gets me in great spirits. Yellow together with good sunlight creates a fantastic feeling.
Canon 6d, 200mm, f/4 ISO 100, 1/640sec
Caroline gave us some good stuff to work with. I have always enjoyed portrait work so it was very nice to get back into that line of photography for a bit. I like accentuating features in the face and with some freckles I think this shot turned out beautiful.
‘In the middle of a fairytale’
Canon 6d, 200mm, f/4 ISO 400, 1/2000sec
Sometimes its great fun to just create something magical and really love this shot. I really think it speaks for itself and it brings out a lot of character from Caroline.
That was a little bit of what went on this week and I hope you all enjoyed it:) Lets see what this one can bring and see you all next Sunday.
